NO Verification Validation
1 Verification is the process of checking that the software meets specification Validation is the process of checking whether the specification capture the customer's need
2 It is refers needs of the user It is refers to the correctness of the implementation of the specification by application
3 Verification is the static testing Validation is the dynamic testing
4 It is internal process It is external process
5 Verification check for the document ,code,plan,specifiction,requirements so on Validation checks the whole product
6 Inputs of verification are walkthrough,checklist,review,inspection meeting Input of validation is actual testing of the actual product
7 Verification take place first After Verification validation done
8 Are we building product right? Are we building right product?
9 Verification is process oriented Validation is product oriented
10 Verification is QA process Validation is QC process i.e. Testing
