Hello, There , Today I am going to talk about how to connect
phone to your laptop wirelessly.
Actually I was testing the app on my newly mobile OnePlus 5T :) , normally I use Droid@Screen app to view phone on my PC but unfortunately
the droid does not mirror my phone screen on PC though the ADB installed, every prerequisite
things already done, but no success using Droid but I had to do recording by Mirroring
phone screen on my PC , then I came across “Connect” app on Windows 10 who was my saviour that day.
Prerequisite:
1.Your both devices should be connect to same network
2.Connect app which is available in Windows 10. On my (Windows
10 home) laptop "connect" app is already available. So, I need to just project it.
Steps:
1.On your Laptop(Windows10) , Just press Windows key and
type : connect
2. Choose the trusted Windows Store app result from the top.
3 .On you Android Phone from the top of the screen and select
the Cast icon and select your PC,On some phones, it will be a button labeled
‘Cast’. Others might say ‘Screen Mirroring’, In my case- Cast
4.Tap
on Cast the pop up appear
5.You will see notification on your pc while connecting
This is look like on phone after connecting
And here is phone mirror on PC :)
Pros:
1.ADB installation is not required
2.No need of USB , Wirelessly you can mirror your Phone to PC
3.Display your android screen in portrait as well as
Landscape mode which is worth
Corns:
1.Not able to mirror phone while doing offline testing
